Root canal & endodontic treatment
Relieve the pain. Keep your tooth.
When the soft tissue inside a tooth becomes infected or inflamed, a root canal removes it, cleans and seals the canals, and stops the pain at its source while keeping your natural tooth.
You might need this if
- Persistent or throbbing toothache
- Lingering sensitivity to hot or cold
- Pain when biting or chewing
- Swelling or tenderness in the gums
Most treated teeth are then protected with a crown, so they stay strong for years.

Questions
About root canal treatment.
Every case is different. At your consultation, Dr. Ritika Goyal will explain what applies to you.
Does a root canal hurt?
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia, and most patients find it far more comfortable than the toothache that brought them in. Some tenderness for a few days afterwards is normal.
Do I need a crown after a root canal?
Often, yes, especially for back teeth, because a crown protects the treated tooth from fracture.
